Why use our program?
Safety is paramount in the concrete industry. At Stress-Tec (UK) Ltd, we utilise our extensive experience to help Prestressing companies fulfil their duties by offering bespoke Prestressing Safety Awareness courses. Over several years, we’ve developed this program in conjunction with Proskills Global and MPA Precast. We deliver the training on their behalf, adhering to their stringent guidelines, as laid out in the
Code of Practice for Safe Stressing (COP) and Proskills maintain a national register of trained operatives and issue the certification and ID cards.
On-Site Training
Our on-site training is tailored to the specific equipment, facilities and stressing procedures of each site. This ensures operatives can handle equipment safely, minimizing risks and preventing accidents. Stress-Tec (UK) Ltd is a recognized trainer partnered with Proskills Global. Visit Proskill Global's website for more information.
Certification of Training Achievement (CTA)
Personnel involved in the Prestressing of Precast Concrete who demonstrate the required skills, knowledge, and competence will be issued a Certificate of Training Achievement (CTA), recorded on a national register. Employers, the Health & Safety Executive, and other bodies can validate an individual's CTA achievements, ensuring a safer working environment.
